EVERGREEN PARK, IL – Roll out the barrel for the Village of Evergreen Park's annual Oktoberfest this Saturday, Oct. 3. Steins will be hosted from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Hamilton B. Maher Community Center, 3450 W. 97th St.
This family-friendly event will bring residents and visitors together for an afternoon and evening of live music, food, drinks, and activities for all ages. The Record Shop on 95th will open the event, followed by live music from Blackberry Jam Chicago and Liam Durkin.
The Evergreen Park Youth and Fire Departments will be selling refreshments. Food vendors on hand also include Craic & Carriage, Barraco's Pizza, Spoke & Vine, Porter Cullens, Happy Jacks, Mini Pancakes, Mi Amor, La Michoacana De Daniel, Frozen Fiesta, Morgan's Cookies, Evergreen Social Whiskey and Boardgame Tavern.
Children's activities will include a bounce house, arts and crafts, pony rides, a petting zoo, and more.
"Oktoberfest has become a favorite Evergreen Park tradition and a great opportunity for neighbors, families, and friends to come together," said Josie Donovan, director of the Evergreen Park Recreation Department. "We are excited to welcome the community back for another fun day of music, food, and activities."
