EPCHS Teacher Recognized by Local Office Max

Evergreen Park associates recently travelled to to surprise math teacher and division chair Eleanor Johnston as part of a nationwide cause called “A Day Made Better."

Founded by OfficeMax and Adopt-A-Classroom, “A Day Made Better” is an annual cause event that seeks to reward and recognize extraordinary teachers for their hard work in the classroom and encourage support for teachers across the country. Ms. Johnston was nominated by EPCHS principal Mr. Bill Sanderson for demonstrating passion, dedication, and innovation in the classroom.

Pictured is Ms. Johnston (seated) being presented with her award, along with $1,000 worth of school supplies from OfficeMax personnel Mirjana Odeh, Travis Nosalski, Annette Harvey, Ray Korwin, Mr. Sanderson, and Joseph Smith.
