Back To School: EPCHS 2024-2025 Academic Calendar

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — There are just a few short weeks of summer left, until students head back to school this month. Back-to-school planning has already begun at Evergreen Park Community High School, with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the 2024-2025 school year.

All grades report for the first day of school (9-12) is Aug. 12.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. We also suggest that you check the EPCHS 2024-2025 calendar for conferences, open houses, meetings, exams, early dismissals, athletics and other school events.

Here's a look at some dates to know for the 24-25 school year:

Aug. 12 - All grades report
Sept. 2 - Labor Day, off
Oct. 14 - Indigenous People Day
Nov. 5 - Presidential Election, no student attendance
Nov. 11 - Veterans Day, off
Nov. 27-29 - Thanksgiving break
Dec. 23 to Jan. 6 - Winter break
Jan. 7 - Teacher Institute, no student attendance
Jan. 8 - School resumes
Jan. 20 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Feb. 17 - Presidents Day
March 3 - Casimir Pulaski Day, off
April 18 to April 25 - Spring Break
April 28 - School resumes
May 16 - Seniors last day
May 21 - Graduation
May 23 - Last day of student attendance
