Back To School: Evergreen Park 2021-2022 School Calendars

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Evergreen Park, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Evergreen Park Elementary District 124 and Evergreen Park Community High School.

Dist. 124 and Dist. 231 students will be welcomed back Aug. 23 at Evergreen Park elementary schools and Evergreen Park Community High School.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Evergreen Park schools.

Masking policies are still being discussed in Orland school districts. The Illinois Federation of Teachers and Cook County Department of Public Health announced Wednesday its endorsement of guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Illinois Department of Public Health calling for universal masking in schools, regardless of vaccination status.

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24 to Nov. 26
Winter Break: Dec. 20 to Dec. 31
