Back To School: Evergreen Park Dist. 124 School Calendar 2022-2023

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Evergreen Park Elementary School Dist. 124 for the 2022-2023 academic school year, with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the new school year.

The first day of school for grade K-8 students is Aug. 22, with school dismissed at 11:30 a.m.; the first full day for students Aug. 23.

Some dates are subject to change during the school year. We also suggest that you check the Dist. 124 calendar for late starts, early dismissals, exams, open houses, athletic and school events, as well as your child's school.

Here is the list of dates to know for Dist. 124 schools this school year:

August 18-19 - Teacher Institute Days – No student attendance
August 22 - First day of classes K-8 and before-school program; students dismissed at 11:30 a.m.
August 23 - First full day of classes for all students and after school program
August 23 - First Day of Early Childhood/Pre-Kindergarten students

September 5 - Labor Day - School closed

October 07 - Teacher Institute Day – No student attendance
October 10 - Columbus Day, no school
October 21 - Students dismissed at 11:30 a.m.; full day for teachers

November 07- No student attendance; full-day parent-teacher conferences, 1 to 7:55 p.m. November 08 - Election Day, school closed
November 09 - Students dismissed at 11:30 a.m., half day parent-teacher conferences, 12:15 – 3:15 p.m.
November 23 - 25 - Thanksgiving Vacation, school closed
November 28 - classes resume

December 23 to January 6 - Winter Vacation
