Back To School: Evergreen Park High School 2022-23 School Calendar

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Back-to-school planning has already begun at Evergreen Park Community High School for the 2022-2023 academic school year, with calendars available to help students and parents prepare for a smooth transition to the new school year.

The first day of school for EPCHS freshmen is Aug. 11. All grade 9-12 students report on Aug. 15.
Some dates are subject to change during the school year. We also suggest that you check the EPCHS calendar for late starts, early dismissals, exams, open houses, athletic and other school events.

Here is the list of dates to know for EPCHS this school year:

Aug. 10 – Freshman/Transfer Student Parent Orientation, 7 to 8 p.m.
Aug. 11 – Freshman Orientation, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Aug. 15 – First full day of school for all classes.

Sept. 5 – Labor Day holiday, no school

Oct. 7 – Homecoming Parade, 3:30 p.m.
Oct. 10 – Columbus Day, no school
Oct. 12 – Seniors no school; standardized testig, freshmen and sophomores, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Nov. 8 – Election Day, no school
Nov. 14 – Veterans Day, no school
Nov. 23 through Nov. 25 – Thanksgiving Break
Nov. 28 – School resumes

Dec. 26 though Jan. 6 – Winter Break

Jan. 9 – Institute Day, no classes
Jan. 10 – School resumes
Jan. 16 – Martin Luther King Jr., no classes

Feb. 4 – Incoming freshman registration, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Feb. 20 – President’s Day, no classes

March 6 – Casimir Pulaski Day, no school

April 10 to April 15 – Spring Break, no school

May 19 – Seniors last day of school
May 24 - Last day of school for underclassmen; senior graduation
