With a winter storm watch in effect, be prepared for the Village of Evergreen Park to enact snow parking rules Feb. 25 through Feb. 26.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL — With a winter storm watch in effect through Tuesday morning through Wednesday afternoon for Cook, Will, LaSalle Kendall and Grundy counties, Evergreen Park residents should be prepared for the village to enact its snow parking rules.
Heavy snow accumulation in excess of six inches are in the forecast. Mayor Jim Sexton asks that residents do their best to aid in snow removal efforts on side streets by getting their cars off the street following the village’s “odd-even” snow parking rules.
Village plows and street crews will hit the main business thoroughfares (Kedzie, 95th Street) before tackling the residential streets. Alleys are the last priority.
