Blue Island Beer Company Jump Starts Frankfort Bluegrass Fest With Fundraiser

The new Blue Island Beer Company hosts a pre-fest fundraiser Saturday for the fifth annual Frankfort Bluegrass Festival in July featuring some of the world’s foremost folk and bluegrass artists in one place.
Festival co-founder Steve Haberichter will be joined by Eric Lambert, Homestretch Ride,Rob Anderlik and more artists Saturday, June 13 from 2 to 10 p.m. The Blue Island Beer Company is located at 13357 Olde Western Ave, Blue Island.

“Connecting with all our friends a month out from the Frankfort’s event helps us keep the festival free to everyone,” said Haberickter. “We appreciate Blue Island Beer jump starting the effort with great craft beer and music.”
A $5 cover, along with a portion of beer sales and raffles benefit the free Frankfort Bluegrass Festival July 11 and July 12 at Breidert Green Park in downtown Frankfort, IL, courtesy of Blue Island Beer Company owners Allen Cromwell and Bryan Shimkos.
