Body Found at Fire Scene in Nearby Beverly
Police said a body was found at a West Beverly fire scene, just outside of Evergreen Park, in the 10200 block of South California Avenue. Officials are now conducting a death investigation.

Officials found a man's body with a gunshot wound inside a car after a house fire in West Beverly early Tuesday morning.
According to Chicago Police, fire officials were called to a home in the 10200 block of South California Avenue at 5:51 a.m.
After battling the blaze, officials discovered an unidentified man's body inside of a car at the scene, Chicago Police said. According to reports, the body had an apparent gunshot wound.

According to Chicago Police News Affairs, "police are conducting a death investigation to determine if it was a suicide. It doesn't appear that there was any foul play."
