Recipe: Slow-Cooked Oatmeal

The perfect breakfast waiting for you in the morning? I can do that! Oatmeal cooked in a slow cooker- set it up at night and enjoy it in the morning. A great way to start off the day! Happy Cooking!

Are you ready to wake up and have your healthy breakfast all ready for you? I have the recipe to make that dream come true. I do not worry about leaving my slow cooker on while I sleep- if you do, try this during the day when you are home and just reheat.

1 cup dried fruit ( cherries, cranberries, bananas, etc.)

1/3 cup packed brown sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon

Mix all of the ingredients in a slow cooker and set it on low for 7 hours. When you are ready to eat, just put it in a bowl, thin it out with more milk if it is too thick for you and enjoy. We sprinkled chopped nuts on top for a little crunch just befroe eating.

Perfect on these cold mornings :) And, good for you!
