New Burlington Opens Friday At Evergreen Plaza

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Burlington Stores has set April 27 for the grand opening of its new location at the rebooted Evergreen Plaza. The national off-price retailer is planning to celebrate its new store in Evergreen Park with a ribbon cutting and family fun day. Residents are invited to stop by and shop the new store and experience all that Burlington has to offer the local area. Village officials and Burlington representatives will cut the ribbon to the new store at 9:30 a.m.

“We are thrilled to open a new Burlington in the Evergreen Park community, bringing even more jobs to the neighborhood and providing local residents with a valued shopping experience,” said Tom Kingsbury, President, CEO and chairman of Burlington Stores.

Customers are invited to a day of family fun from 10 a.m. to 2 pm. Saturday, April 28. The first 500 customers in line will receive a free Burlington tote, as well as opportunities for gift card giveaways, kids’ activities, popcorn and more.

Burlington is located in the Evergreen Plaza, 9550 S. Western Ave. (95th Street and Western Avenue), Evergreen Park. Regular stores hours are 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday, snf 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

The Evergreen Park Burlington store boasts 45,000 square feet. The store has hired approximately 75 associates from and is still accepting applications for cashiers, retail sales associates, receiving associates, loss prevention associates, assistant managers and customer service associates.
