Butterfly-Lovin' Native Plants For Sale At Evergreen Park Library

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Do you want monarch and swallowtail butterflies to visit your summer garden? Bob Erlich, the Evergreen Park Public Library’s butterfly garden curator, will be parked on the library’s front porch offering tips on caring for your butterfly-lovin’ plants from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 25.

Pick up some native plants at the library’s plant sale which runs through Saturday. Erlich will show patrons how to care for their new plants and nurture the monarchs and swallowtails that use these plants to lay their eggs. Proceeds from the plant sale will go toward maintenance of the library's native plant garden.
