Capuano Classic 4 on 4 Hockey Tournament Signing Up Teams of 12

The second annual Capuano Classic gets underway Feb. 25 and Feb. 26 at the Daniel V. Capuano Ice Rink in Evergreen Park.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Get ready for the second annual Capuano Classic 4 on 4 Hockey Tournament, coming up Feb. 25 and Feb. 26 at the Daniel V. Capuano Ice Rink in Yukich Field, 89th Street and Kedzie Avenue.

This is an age 21+ tournament, comprised of 12-player and goalies maximum roster per team. All teams are guaranteed to play at least three games.

There are two divisions this year: the Main Event 21+ and 40+/Co-Ed. The cost to put a 12-player team plus goalies on the ice is $500.

All players in both divisions must be 21+yrs old to play. The Main Event is open to all, men and women. In the 40+/Co-Ed division, players must be 40+ if male, and 21+ if female. There is no restriction on number of men/women per team. There are no restrictions on goalies for either division as long as they are 21.

Spectators are welcome to watch some competitive hockey. Food will be available to purchase, and a split-the-pot raffle. Proceeds benefit maintenance and upkeep of the Capuano Ice Rink.
