Celebrate Winter at Family Flake Fest

Flakes of all ages will have a ball at the Family Flake Fest this Saturday, Feb. 6, from 1 to 6 p.m.

Sponsored by the Village of Evergreen Park, the Flake Fest offers an afternoon of winter fun, including a youth speed skating classic, a learn-to-skate and pre-hockey clinic, ice sculpting, ice skating, crafts, Oberweis Dairy cocoa and Little Company of Mary Hospital education station.

Stick around for the introduction of the Evergreen Park Community High School Snow Queen and Court.

The festival FREE. Activities take place at Yukich Field, 89th Street and Kedzie Avenue, and in the Evergreen Park firehouse garage, 9000 S. Kedzie Ave. For more information call 708-229-3373.
