Evergreen Park, IL, June 3, 2016 -- Central Middle School in Evergreen Park held graduation exercises for 196 eighth-graders on May 26.
The featured student speaker was National Junior Honor Society member and American Legion participant Dana Stanecki, who recalled her and her classmates’ days as “innocent kindergartners.”

Central Middle School principal Rita Sparks, assistant principal Trayon Sallis, D124 superintendent Dr. Robert Machak and school board president Kim Leonard also had words of wisdom for the newly minted graduates as they enter high school and their proud families.

The graduation was held at Evergreen Park High School. Students from the Central Middle School choir and band performed.
D124 communications director Claudia Parker compiled a video of all the graduation highlights. We’re glad there was someone to catch the girls coming off the stage in their high heel shoes.
