Central Middle School Teachers' Flash Mob Earns Students' R-E-S-P-E-C-T

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Which school has the coolest teachers? Why Central Middle School in Evergreen Park, of course.

The CMS chorus and band put on a stellar winter concert on Dec. 20. Parents and community members were treated to a selection of holiday songs performed beautifully by the middle school student vocalists and muscisians.

The next day, the chorus and band performed a condensed show for the entire student body. Faculty and staff also performed, but not in the chorus or band. The teachers secretly rehearsed a special surprise for the students with a synchronized dance number choreographed by Megan Harrigan.

Everyone in the building was impacted by the student’s reaction to their teacher’s version of Aretha Franklin’s R-E-S-P-E-C-T. It can only be described as JOY RISING.
