Chicago Bulls, First Alert and Chicago Fire Department Teamed Up to Take Charge of Fire Safety

Educational Assembly Engaged Children in the Importance of Fire Safety

First Alert partnered with the Chicago Bulls to educate local children about the importance of fire safety last week. The event, which was held at the Kroc Center and also included representatives from the Chicago Fire Department, was a great success, as more than 150 children learned fire safety tips and watched performances from Benny the Bull, the Incredibulls and the Elevators. Benny the Bull was able to help “take charge of safety” with First Alert and the Chicago Fire Department and performed for local elementary school kids.

Chicago Firefighter Preston Roberson spoke to local elementary school children about the importance of fire safety.

Elementary school children were all smiles in their “take charge of safety” t-shirts in front of Chicago Fire Engine No. 115. All children who attended took home a First Alert smoke alarm to their families, a coloring book on fire safety and more!
