Christmas Without Cancer Gears Up For Harvesting Hope Benefit
Christmas Without Cancer's popular fundraiser returns Nov. 6 at 115 Bourbon Street, featuring exciting raffles and live music

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — After taking a year off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the hugely popular fundraiser Harvesting Hope returns with a new location, live entertainment, exciting raffles, and fun for the entire community. Benefitting the not-for-profit Christmas Without Cancer, Harvesting Hope will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6 at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park.
Harvesting Hope will kick off with a not-to-be-missed live music performance by the legendary Liam Durkin Band. Featuring an eclectic mix of music for every taste, The Liam Durkin band will perform favorites songs from country, folk, rock, blues and Irish genres.
For the first time ever, an incredible specialty raffle, featuring a Peloton Bike Family Collection, will be offered. Featuring a Peloton bicycle, two pairs of cycling shoes, weights, a pair of Urbanears Sumpan earbuds, two Peloton X Camelback water bottles, and a pair of heart rate monitors, the Peloton Bike Family Collection is perfect for exercise enthusiasts or those looking to get a jump on their New Year’s resolutions. Tickets for the Peloton raffle are $40 each, or three tickets for $100. Tickets may be purchased at the event, or in advance by messaging the Harvesting Hope Facebook page.

Other featured raffles and activities include:
Plinko: Come On Down! The most popular game to ever be played on “The Price is Right” will once again be a crowd-pleaser at Harvesting Hope. For $10 per chance, contestants will be given a round flat disc to use on the Plinko Board. Various prizes such as cash, gift certificates, t-shirts, and more will be awarded to lucky winners.

Punch-A-Bunch: Another favorite game on “The Price is Right,” Punch-A-Bunch will feature a board where guests can punch through a piece of paper to win a variety of prizes such as cash, gift certificates, koozies, bracelets, lottery scratch offs, and more. Each punch will cost $10.
Specialty Liquor Wagon: Attendees can enter to win a sports wagon filled with a variety of alcoholic beverages for every palate, and a number of accessories, such as an ice machine and Yeti cups. Tickets are three for $20.
Wine Pull: A favorite from past events, the Wine Pull will offer the opportunity to choose a bottle of wine from a variety of price ranges, many of which will have surprise gift certificates to various businesses. Each wine pull chance will be $10.
Specialty item raffles: Guests will have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets to be entered to win a variety of exciting items, including an iPad, AirPods, an overnight stay in Lake Geneva, an air fryer, a bonfire Solo stove, sporting events tickets, Yeti products, and more. Tickets will be available for purchase for three for $20
Basket raffles: An incredible array of baskets filled to the rim with amazing items will be raffled. Many baskets will be showcased, featuring everything from bath and body works to exciting date nights. Tickets for the basket raffles will be six for $5.
Open to ages 21 and above, admission to Harvesting Hope is $50 per person, with tickets available for purchase at the door or in advance online at My Event Harvesting Hope 2021. Christmas Without Cancer is committed to the health and safety of all our supporters and families. Harvesting Hope will follow all Illinois Department of Health guidelines at the time of the event.
