CMS 8th graders Skpe with bestselling author

Students had opportunity to ask questions of the author after reading "Towers Falling" and "Ghost Boys"

Members of the Central Middle School eighth grade lunch time book club had the opportunity to Skype with New York Times Bestselling children’s author Jewell Parker Rhodes on Jan. 7 at the Evergreen Park Public Library.

The students had the opportunity to ask questions of the author after reading her novels "Towers Falling" and "Ghost Boys." Rhodes answered questions from the students, shared personal stories, and offered to provide advice and guidance to the students in the future.

The Skype session was organized by District Librarian Angala Iverson, in conjunction with the Evergreen Park Public Library.
