Evergreen Park Candlelight Theatre Offers Evening Of Song, Comedy, Appetizers And Wine

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Don’t sit alone in your room, come to the Evergreen Park Candlelight Theatre “Candlelight Cabaret” this Saturday, Jan. 31. The curtain rises at 7 p.m. in the Performance Hall at the Evergreen Park Senior Center, 9457 S. Homan Ave.

The Evergreen Park Recreation Department thespians present a fun evening of music, comedy, and a short one-act written by the irrepressible Glenn Pniewski and magnificently performed by Olivia Eckroth, Mac Gillespie and Mary Pniewski. The encore features an uplifting song that can be sung by the entire room.

An intimate wine/appetizer table opens up after the show. Soft drinks, too. Candlelit table seating and a cozy atmosphere in the Performance Hall of the Evergreen Park Senior Center. General admission table and row seating available.

The community theater troupe will be unveiling a few upcoming productions that theater peeps might be interested in participating in. Advance reservations are appreciated, so that there is an ample supply of goodies.
