Country Singer and Evergreen Park Native to Appear in Oak Lawn
Katie Quick, a former Chicago Public School teacher originally from Evergreen Park, will appear at the Children's Museum in Oak Lawn this Saturday.

Nashville country artist and Evergreen Park native, Katie Quick, will be appearing live at theon Saturday, March 24.
Quick is a former Chicago Public School teacher who now travels the country with her Fingertips School Program. Described as a unique educational concert experience that combines live music with storytelling, humor, student participation, and inspiration, the free event will run from noon to 3 p.m.
The program will feature an acoustic concert followed by a Meet-and-Greet. CDs and other merchandise will be available for purchase.

According to her biography, Quick has appeared on hundreds of television shows and radio stations worldwide (including ABC, NBC, GAC, CMT,
and more), and singlehandedly launched the groundbreaking arts and education program Fingertips.
"This unique motivational concert experience has allowed Katie to get back to the classroom setting all while using her music to encourage students to follow their dreams," Quick's press release says.
