CSX Grade Crossing Closed For Ten Days at 95th Street and Troy
Expect delays while CSX grade crossing is closed for repairs through June 11.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- The CSX railroad crossing at 95th Street and Troy has been closed in both directions for necessary repairs. The closure, which began Tuesday, May 29, seemed to catch some motorists off guard. The railroad crossing is expected to be closed through June 11.
The main detour route as mandated by IDOT, is Kedzie or Western to 87th Street. Cars are using side streets to circumnavigate, so expect delays throughout the northeast section of the village. CSX can be reached by calling 708-832-2169, or 606-723-2193, or 1-800-737-1663.
