D124 families get active at 2018 Family Fitness Fest

Families from across the District enjoyed the opportunity to take part in Evergreen Park School District 124’s Family Fitness Fest on March 16.

Those in attendance enjoyed Zumba and Taekwondo stations, learned bike helmet safety and proper CPR technique, and had a chance to dance, enjoy healthy snacks, and much more.

A few lucky winners took home exciting prize packages, which included custom baskets from each District school, as well as tickets and autographed memorabilia from Chicago sports teams.

The goal of the District’s annual Family Fitness Fest is to reinforce the importance of staying active and healthy by creating a fun-filled environment for the District’s students and families to enjoy.
