Severe Shortage Of Blood Reported, Donate A Pint At The Evergreen Park Blood Drive

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Slots are still available for the village blood drive, this Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Evergreen Park Community Center, 3450 W. 97th St. The blood drive runs from 9 a.m. to noon.

The American Red Cross has declared a severe blood shortage nationwide, after supplies dropped 35 percent during flu season, cold weather and increased hospital orders.
