Donate Your Old Photos And Artifacts To Evergreen Park's Archives
The Historical Commission is hosting an Archive Collection Event Oct. 21 in preparation for Evergreen Park's 125th anniversary.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Evergreen Park residents are invited to be a part of village history by bringing their old photos, home movies and newspapers to the Evergreen Park Senior Center on Saturday, 21. The Historical Commission will be hosting an Archive Collection Event from noon to 3 p.m. The artifacts are being collected in preparation for Evergreen Park’s 125th anniversary.
Residents who have Evergreen Park-centric photos of any kind showing village residents, streets, businesses, schools and churches or ephemeral materials, such as brochures, posters, programs or village documents, bring them to the Senior Center. Photos can be scanned onsite and returned to the donor. The Evergreen Park Public Library’s “StoryCorps” team will also be on hand to continue interviewing residents to record their stories of the village’s history.
