EP Farmers Market Begins Thursday

Annual Festival Continues Through the Summer

Spring has arrived and with it comes the opening of the Annual Evergreen Park Farmers Market, which arrives on Thursday morning, May 2, operating from 8am-1pm.

A staple in the Evergreen Park community for over twenty years, the Market continues every Thursday morning through the summer and fall until the end of October.

The Market is located at Yukich Fields, 89th and Kedzie.

Coordinated by Beth Novotney, Director of the EP Office of Citizens’ Services, the Market will open with a display theme of “All Things Spring”, where certain vendors showcase their spring plants and flowers, just in time for Mothers Day and Memorial Day.

By June, when the Market is at its peak, Yukich Field is awash in color, foods, crafts, fruits and vegetables.
