EP Historical Commission Leads Bike Tour For Kids In Grades 5-12

Kids in grades 5-12 can ride their bikes and learn local history July 27 with the Evergreen Park Historical Commission.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Ride your bike and learn something as the Evergreen Park Historical Commission take kids in grades 5-12 on a FREE pedaling tour of the village’s historic places on Saturday, July 27. Check in at 9:15 a.m. at the Evergreen Park Community Center, 3450 W. 97th St. The tour pushes off at 9:30 p.m.

Enjoy a beautiful Saturday morning riding your bike and learning about Evergreen Park’s local history and experience all that Evergreen Park has to offer. Members of the historical commission will provide stories and anecdotes at several key historic areas in Evergreen Park.

The tour lasts 90 minutes and Evergreen Park police officers will assist bike riders at street crossings. Finish up the tour with snacks, refreshments and games in the youth center. Registration is MANDATORY by Friday, July 19. Please wear a HELMET.
