EVERGREEN PARK, IL — National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing. On November 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by Nov. 30. This national initiative encourages participants to write 50,000 words during November.

Need a quiet place to pound out another thousand words? The Evergreen Park library is one of many locations holding “come write-ins.” Gather with other NaNoWriMo writers and be inspired by the literary atmosphere. The come write-ins are free and open to writers of all ages and levels.

NaNoWriMo gatherings will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12, Nov.19 and Nov. 26. The Evergreen Park Public Library is located at 9400 S. Troy Ave.
