EP Library Summer Reading Challenge Kicks Off With Party, Petting Zoo
Find your voice this summer by joining the Evergreen Park Library's reading challenge that kicks off Saturday, June 10, with a big ol' party
EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Find your voice this summer by joining the Evergreen Park Public Library’s Summer Reading Challenge. The challenge kicks off from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 10, with a big old parking lot party at 9400 S. Troy Ave.
The party features a petting zoo, Evergreen Park Fire Department fire trucks and gear, and a balloon toss. Bring your smart phone and headphones to dance in a silent rave. Rolling Video Games Chicago will be bringing a video game truck and summer treats will be available thanks to Sean Kelly at State Farm.
While you're there, sign up the whole family for the summer reading challenge and start logging the minutes you read this summer to earn prizes. The reading challenge is open to all ages.
