EP Podcast Guy Hosts Podcast Info Session At Evergreen Park Library
Professional podcaster Chris Lanuti will give an overview of starting a podcast and making money at it Tuesday, June 20, at the EP Library.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — So you want to start a podcast? Chris Lanuti, host and producer of The EP Podcast, will teach residents young and old the ins and outs of podcasting Tuesday, June 20. The “How To Start A Podcast” session begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Evergreen Park Public Library, 9400 S. Troy Ave.
Lanuti is the president of The Broadcast Basement, which boasts more than 250,000 annual complete household downloads with over 1 million listens each year. The company currently produces nine shows and Lanuti appears as a host on five of them, Popular podcasts include Sox In the Basement about all things Chicago White Sox, and South Side Pod (where there is currently a pizza war going on) that covers events throughout the Southland, in addition to the EP Podcast. His Sox podcast ranks in the top one percent of podcasts worldwide. All are featured on Patch.
Lanuti’s company also offers consulting, studio time and production services for podcasters at any level, with several local businesses using Broadcast Basement’s services to run podcasts promoting their own businesses.
