EP Recreation Department Now Taking Program Registrations Online

Signing up for programs is now just a click of a button!

(Village of Evergreen Park)

Registration for Evergreen Park Recreation Department programs and classes begins today (Tuesday, September 6) and for the first time, that registration can be done online and paid with a credit card!

The Recreation Department has been providing fun activities to the community for decades; in addition to running a very successful preschool program, the Department offers programs for kids and adults. These include youth sports, art classes, magic classes and various levels of exercise programs. (Our Youth Department focuses on kids from grades 5-12 and our Office of Citizens’ Services maintains programs and services for older adults).

“To make it easier for people to register, we are very excited to FINALLY be able to make sign-ups available online," said Josie Donovan, one of the program coordinators. “We recognize how busy people are, and in many cases, don’t have the chance to register for an activity until they are on their smartphones at 10pm!”.

Registration can be done through the village website (www.evergreenpark-ill.com). There is a link to the portal in “News Flash” as well as in the Recreation Department’s page within that site. One simply sets up an account (a one-time process) and the full menu of Recreation programs are at their disposal.

“Of course, people are still very welcome to come to the Community Center and register with us in person,” added Jill Linn, program co-coordinator. “We still love to see people and say hello to our residents.”

The Fall/Winter Program Book is online as well, which will be updated every few weeks to keep current with new programs being added. And the department’s Facebook page “Evergreen Park Recreation” keeps you reminded of upcoming activities.
