EVERGREEN PARK, IL – Zachary Meyer has been named an Illinois State Scholar, in addition to the other 18 seniors from Evergreen Park Community High School previously recognized for this distinguished honor.

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission, the state’s college access and financial aid agency, presents this important recognition of academic achievement to exceptional Illinois high school students annually. This year, more than 17,340 honorees join the other outstanding students who have been honored since the designation was first introduced in 1958.

All 19 EPCHS Illinois State Scholars will receive their Certificate of Achievement from ISAC at the school’s Honors Night, which will take place in May. Meyer received an embroidered sweatshirt and is pictured here with principal Sanderson.
