EPCHS Alum In The Spotlight: Laureen Janeczek Wysocki
The 1980 Evergreen Park Community High School graduate has been with the Lyric Opera of Chicago Chorus for more than 30 years.
Laureen Janeczek Wysocki, an Evergreen Park Community High School alum who graduated in 1980, continues to live her dream with a career in music that has now spanned more than three decades.
Janeczek Wysocki has been a soprano in the Lyric Opera of Chicago Chorus since 1988.
"I have been blessed to have a long and creative career doing what I love, singing at the Lyric Opera of Chicago," Janeczek Wysocki said, adding that it was during her time as a student at EPCHS when her passion for music developed.

"I am grateful to have received an excellent education in music, which blossomed during my time at EPHS, 1976-1980," she said. "I am especially thankful that my high school choir director, Jay Fry, used to take me to/from professional voice lessons in Chicago."
