EPCHS Band Director Elected to Midwest Band Hall of Fame

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Long-time band director Ken Kazin, of Evergreen Park Community High School, has been inducted into the Midwest Band Hall of Fame. The honor was presented following Evergreen Park Community High School’s performance at Lemont High School on Feb. 24.

Kazin has been the band director at EPCHS for 30 years and in that time has participated in every performance of the Midwest Festival, including in the late 1980’s when it was hosted by Stagg High School. Kazin was honored for his contributions to music performance and music education with Evergreen Park Community High School’s Concert Band and Wind Ensemble.
