EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Evergreen Park Community High School is gearing up for homecoming festivities happening this week. Community members are invited to show their Mustang Pride at the homecoming parade followed by the big game against the Eisenhower Cardinals later in the evening Friday, Oct. 11.

The parade steps off at 3:30 p.m. in the south parking lot of the high school at 99th Street and Kedzie Avenue. The parade will cross Kedzin and proceed west down 100th Street to Clifton Park. From there, the parade will move south down Clifton Park to 101st Street, where it will travel east to Sawyer Avenue. The parade will return to 100th Street and the school parking lot. Roads will be temporarily closed during the parade.

Come back later for the football game. The 3-3 Evergreen Park Mustangs take the field at 7 p.m. against the 4-2 Eisenhower Cardinals of Blue Island. Junior varsity kickoff is at 4:30 p.m.

The alumni hospitality tent will be in the south end zone providing a great view of the game. After the game, head over to the after-party at the Red Palm, 3020 W. 95th St. in Evergreen Park. The Alumni Association and EPCHS Foundation will be providing pizza for guests as they meet up with old friends. The after-party starts around 9 p.m. As always, ALL ALUMNI are invited to participate in the EPCHS homecoming parade.
