EPCHS Drama Presents The Comedy, 'The 39 Steps'

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Evergreen Park Community High School Drama hits the boards Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 in The 39 Steps. Tickets are $6 for adults, and $5 for students and seniors. Performances are at 7 p.m.

The play is based on the famous 1939 Alfred Hitchcock film of the same name, but is a more comic treatment of the counterintelligence officer and his romantic entanglements. Re-tooled in 2005 byPatrick Barlow, The 39 Steps won a Tony Award for best comedy. The play features a small ensemble of actors playing multiple roles.

The play will be performed at the EPCHS, located at 9901 S. Kedzie Ave.
