EPCHS Grad Hannah Rahm Receives Golden Apple Scholarship

Congratulations to Hannah Rahm. Hannah was one of this year's recipients of the Golden Apple Scholarship. She received her award at a Golden Apple Induction at Drury Lane on Saturday, June 8.

Hannah will receive $23,000 in tuition and assistance. Real world classroom teaching experience will start in July and upon graduation, she will have over 1,000 hours of actual classroom teaching experience. Hannah will attend Illinois Wesleyan University.

Hannah participated in the EPCHS Education Internship program. She completed her internship this Spring, guided by Paola Polasek, at Central Middle School.

This year alone over 1,600 Golden Apple applications were received and 268 scholarship were given out state wide.
