EPCHS Hosts Karaoke Showdown Fundraiser For AERO Special Ed Co-Op
Evergreen Park Community High School will host a Karaoke Showdown fundraiser Jan. 31, featuring singers from EPCHS, OLCHS, Reavis and Argo.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL - Twelve high school students will compete in the second annual Karaoke Showdown fundraiser to benefit the AERO Special Education Cooperative that serves school districts across the near south suburbs, hosted by Evergreen Park Community High School. 9901 S. Kedzie Ave.
The event, which will feature student singers from the four high schools that are the founding members of AERO, will be held at EPCHS' Marshall Batho Auditorium on Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 7 p.m.
Three contestants each from EPCHS, Argo Community High School, Oak Lawn Community High School and Reavis High School will sing karaoke and compete for prizes.

The three judges will narrow the field to four students total who will sing again and compete for the championship. A traveling trophy will be awarded to the school with the winning contestant. Reavis High School holds the trophy currently as one of its students won the top prize in 2023.
A $5 admission from all attendees will go directly to support AERO, as will proceeds from t-shirts and concession sales. A split-the-pot raffle will be held as well.
