EPCHS Music Department Scores High Ratings at IHSA Competition

Congratulations to the Evergreen Park Community High School Music Department on a successful weekend at the IHSA State Competition.

The Jazz Ensemble and Concert Choir each received excellent ratings and the Concert Band received a Superior rating.

By the numbers, EPCHS's music department is ranked 13th in state in Class A among participating IHSA schools this year, and 2nd in the South Suburban Conference based upon both Solo and Ensemble and Organizational results this year.

Most importantly, all of these students invested creative and emotional energy to present artistically successful performances.
