EPCHS Presents 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Evergreen Park Community High School hits the boards with its spring musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Performances are Feb. 9, Feb. 10 and Feb. 11. Tickets are already going fast.

The musical is based on the “coat of many colors” story of Joseph from the Bible’s Book of Genesis. With lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the musical has little spoken dialogue and is almost entirely sung through. The family-friendly story is popular for its catchy songs and familiar themes, making it a favorite staging of high schools and community theater groups.

Tickets are only $6 for adults, $5 for students. The musical will be performed in EPCHS’s newly renovated auditorium that already has gained a reputation as an incredible theatre venue in Evergreen Park. Performances are 7 p.m. Feb. 9 and 10, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Feb. 11. Evergreen Park Community High School is located at 9901 S. Kedzie Ave.
