EPCHS Service Club Spread Kindness To Loop's Homeless

Students from Evergreen Park Community High School performed a day of service with All God's People serving homeless persons in the Loop.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Evergreen Park Community High School Service Club collaborated with All God’s People for a day of service on Oct. 12. Students worked with the organization that ministers to the needs of homeless people in the Chicago Loop area.

The EPCHS students set up a distribution center at 2431 S State Street, where they handed out clothing, blankets, toiletries, and food. Twelve students, accompanied by the co-sponsors, volunteered. The students that participated included Jennifer Alcaraz, Yarely Alcaraz, John Bautista, Joe Donnelly, Gio Hernandez, Kiara James, Leian Lacey, Henry Lee, Emma O'Grady, Ariel Ochoa, Jeremiah Robinson, and Imani Sykes.
