EPCHS Teacher Kevin Knapik Presents at NISE Conference

Kevin's presentation was titled, Breeding Behavior: Teaching Genetic Change Using Storylines.

Evergreen Park Community High School Science teacher Kevin Knapik, recently presented to other Chicagoland science teachers at the annual Northern Illinois Science Educators (NISE) conference in Naperville, Illinois. Kevin's presentation was titled, Breeding Behavior: Teaching Genetic Change Using Storylines.

The presentation is based on the curriculum that Kevin is using in his classroom and is developing with the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign as part of the PAGES (Progressing through the Ages: Global change, Evolution, and Societal well-being) program. Kevin has been chosen to present new teaching materials that he has been developing for three years in a row.
