EPCHS Teachers Share Teaching Strategies at SSSSC Conference

Mr. Flannigan and Mr. Nesler presented strategies for differentiated instruction using digital technology.

Evergreen Park Community High School Social Studies teachers Pat Flannigan and Ben Nesler recently presented to a group of 21 teachers at Oak Lawn District 218 during the South-Suburban Social Studies Conference hosted by the SSSSC (South-Suburban Social Studies Chairs) consortium. Mr. Flannigan and Mr. Nesler presented strategies for differentiated instruction using digital technology, including the programs NEWSELA, NearPod, and EdPuzzle.

Further bolstering Evergreen Park's commitment to helping all learners, the keynote address was given by Dr. Margaret Carroll, of St. Xavier University, who has also been working with EPCHS on differentiation strategies to help all levels of learners for the last several years.
