​EPCHS Welcomes 120 Families to 7th & 8th Grade Open House

Evergreen Park Community High School recently hosted the Annual 7th & 8th Grade Open House. The event was held so future high school students could experience a taste of what it would be like to be a Mustang before they start high school.

The night began in the large gym with an athletics/activities fair, which included information about all of our sports, clubs and activities. The fair was organized by Mrs. Amy Kazin and Mr. Jim Soldan.

Following the athletics/activities fair, 120 families toured the building, led by 21 of our student leaders, including Macy Benson, Colin Brennan, Tiana Brown, Heidi Burke, Kylie Doherty, Caroline Duffy, Michelle Esparza, Ailyn Esquivel, Allianna Garcia, Marion Isaac, Nicholas Jacobs, Kathleen Jacobson, CJ Kompare, Kassandra Martinez, Juliet O'Connor, Kevin O'Toole, Aliyah Polk, Brooke Scanlon, Grace Sisto, Jessalyn Torres and Rachel Witte as well as faculty/administration chaperones Ms. Eileen Durkin, Mr. Tom Eisenbraun, Mr. Tom Fitzer, Mr. Rob McCarthy, Ms. Shaunita Montout, Superintendent Tom O’Malley, Ms. Veronica Tarbhai and Ms. Carol McCormick.

The night concluded in the cafeteria with light refreshments served by our STamPede parents.
