EPCHS Will Host IHSA eSports State Finals This Weekend
The state's best high school video game players will compete for championships at Evergreen Park Community High School's new eSports lab.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL - Evergreen Park Community High School is gearing up to host the 2023 Illinois High School Association eSports state tournament. The all-day event will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, in EPCHS' brand new, state-of-the-art, eSports lab.
The eSports lab is located within the school's award-winning Learning Resource Center.
The state finals will come a little more than a week after EPCHS hosted the South Suburban Conference eSports championship, which on Wednesday, April 19, brought video game players from seven other schools from across the south suburbs.
