Evergreen Park Attorney Appointed To D124 Board Vacancy

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- An Evergreen Park attorney has been appointed to serve a two-year term due to a vacancy on the Dist 124 school board. Kevin O’Connor was officially sworn into office on May 15.

O’Connor is a partner at a mid-size law firm in the Chicago Loop. His prior community service includes six years on the board of trustees for the Chicago chapter of a national charitable organization and through holding various volunteer positions at his local church parish.

He is committed to the continued growth and success of Evergreen Park public elementary schools, and looks forward to being part of the Dist. 124 school board. O’Connor is interested in ensuring that the district continues to provide the highest quality educational opportunities in a fiscally responsible way.
