Binny's Hosts Tasting For Christmas Without Cancer
Stop by Binny's in Evergreen Park Oct. 24 and sample some great wines and help local families facing cancer experience a happier Christmas.

Binny’s Beverages of Evergreen Park will host its 6th Annual Tasting to benefit local nonprofit Christmas Without Cancer Thursday, October 24 from 6 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Binny’s tradition of showcasing “staff favorites” in wine, spirits and beer for tastings has prompted many to stock up for the holidays while also benefiting a local grassroots nonprofit.
A $10 donation benefits ChristmasWithoutCancer.org. Supporters gain instant entry into the sampling areas and are automatically entered into a raffle with dozens of top shelf door prizes. Binny’s is located at 3447 West 95th Street, Evergreen Park.

“In our six years here in Evergreen Park we’ve been proud to be shoulder to shoulder with Christmas Without Cancer,” said Jeff Bogdan, Binny’s store manager. “The Binny’s organization began as - and remains - a family business so the association with Christmas Without Cancer allows us to reach the families in need of support.”
The Christmas Without Cancer circle of influence and support continues to expand. CWC officially launched its “season of giving” with a late September 5K, enjoying its greatest turnout with more than 1,000 participants.

Christmas Without Cancer, an organization started by Gerri Neylon, comes to the rescue of those impacted by cancer so the family can focus on Christmas. The Evergreen Park volunteer group identifies needs such as utility bills and mortgage payments, gas, parking and children in need of wrapped presents.
Neylon reasons Christmas Without Cancer has been a success because "people know their donations are helping people locally, right now" so the family can focus on the spirit in Christmas.
