Evergreen Park Candlelight Theatre's 'Give My Regards To Broadway' Showcases Local Talent

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- The Evergreen Park Recreation Department’s Candlelight Theatre will present a fun-filled, toe-tapping, song-singing extravaganza featuring a talented ensemble of local youths and adults. “Give My Regards to Broadway” hits the boards with two evening performances on June 9 and June 11, followed by an afternoon matinee on June 10.

A pair senior citizens visit a darkened theater, which is due for demolition soon. It’s the same theater where they met sixty years before, in a show called “Give My Regards to Broadway.” Together they remember that show and how it began a lifelong love affair between them.

Performances are 8 p.m. Friday, June 9; 7 p.m. Saturday, June 10; and 3 p.m. Sunday, June 11. The show will be performed at the Evergreen Park Senior Center, 9547 S. Homan Ave., Evergreen Park.
