Evergreen Park Community Center Open As Cooling Center
The Evergreen Park Community Center will open as a cooling center during this week's 90-degree heat.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL — If your air conditioner is broke or you need a place to cool off, the Evergreen Park Community Center, 3450 W. 97 St., at Klein (Circle) Park, will be open as a cooling center during this week’s 90-plus degree weather.
Anyone utilizing the cooling center will be required to wear a face mask. Recreation department staff will socially distance those seeking refuge from the heat.
The Evergreen Park Community Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but call ahead to make sure its open at 708-229-3373.
