Evergreen Park Community High School 2019-2020 Calendar

EVERGREEN PARK—Summer break is almost over for Evergreen Park Community High School students, with an orientation date of Aug. 29 for freshmen and transfer students, and the first day of school for all students set for Sept. 3.

Whether you and your students are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark these dates on your calendar ASAP. The school has released its full 2019-2020 school calendar, which can be found in full here.

The calendar includes important dates, such as winter and spring vacations, federal holidays, and parent-teacher conferences.

Aug. 28 - Freshmen/parent orientation, 7 p.m.
Aug. 29 - Freshmen/transfer student orientation, 8:30 a.m. to 1:25 p.m.
Sept. 2 - Labor Day holiday, no school
Sept. 3 - First full day of school, all classes
Sept. 11 - Back-to-School Night, 7 p.m.
Oct. 11 - Homecoming game, Mustangs vs. Eisenhower, 7 p.m.
Oct. 14 - Columbus Day, no school
Nov. 27 to Nov. 29 - Thanksgiving break
Dec. 2 - School resumes
Dec. 23 to Jan. 3 - Winter break
Jan. 6 - School resumes
Jan. 20 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day, no school
Feb. 17 - Presidents Day, no school
March 2 - Casimir Pulaski Day., no school
April 10 to April 17 - Spring break
April 20 - school resumes
May 25 - Memorial Day, no school
June 3 - Graduation, 7 p.m.
June 11 - Last day of school, unless emergency days are used
June 18 - School closes
